Well done Team Berkshire!
What an outstanding week for Berkshire Pigs & Breeders at GYS, doing fantastically well in interbreed classes, showing our favourite pigs at their very best.
Well done to Peter Sykes, an up and coming breeder, who took breed champion, alongside other wins.

The pigs, breeders and their teams, really put Berkshires back in the headlines, the hard work and preparation really paid off, both pigs and handlers were well turned out, and were a credit to the club.
There was also also plenty of laughs and socialising outside of the ring, with breeders fully supporting each other. I am sure there will be running "jokes" which will surface at future shows!
Ron Fieldhouse did a great job of judging the Berkshires.
